From WordCamp Ottawa to the Beta Version: Our 2024 Journey
What a whirlwind year for the Findstr team! As we leave 2024 behind, we’re thrilled to share the key milestones of our journey and, most importantly, announce exciting news for early 2025.
Debut at WordCamp Ottawa
Summer 2024 marked a turning point with the presentation of our alpha version at WordCamp Ottawa. This first public showcase allowed us to connect with passionate members of the WordPress community. The enriching discussions with attendees not only validated our vision but also provided valuable ideas for optimizing Findstr.
From Alpha to Pre-Beta: A Journey of Continuous Optimization
The months that followed were intense:
- Setting up and optimizing our server infrastructure
- Conducting in-depth testing on real-world websites
- Developing new features inspired by feedback from WordCamp
- Refining the user interface and administrator experience
- Placing a strong emphasis on ESG principles
Between countless cups of coffee, late-night debugging sessions, and moments of comfort with our pets (pet therapy proved surprisingly effective!), our team stayed focused and enthusiastic.
A Crucial Milestone: The Beta Version Launch
Today, we’re proud to announce that Findstr is ready for its next big step: deployment to a select group of beta testers. These users, chosen from the WordPress community, will play a crucial role in fine-tuning our solution.
